THE GRUFFALO

Tall Stories present a 1 hour workshop for 20 pupils, which looks at some of the ways the company use to tell stories in their shows. Find out how to create a story in pictures, and a character using your body - and then tell your own story in small groups. The workshop is a fast moving enjoyable introduction to storytelling in theatre - using games, freeze frames and well-known tales.

UNCLE VANYA
In-school workshops for Drama & Theatre studies students aged 14+ will be delivered throughout the tour to explore Uncle Vanya through exercises from Peter Hall's rehersal room. The workshops will also explore Stanislavskian methods when applied to Chekhov.

ENGLISH TOURING OPERA
Voithio! is a brand new schools opera based on the combined Greek myths of the birdboy Icarus, the monster Minotaur and the hero Theseus. Composer Rachel Leach, writer Tim Yelland and designer Ellen Dowell bring together a mixture of singing, playing, dancing and storytelling to tell these fantastic myths aimed specifically at children aged 4 – 11.
