Pantomime audiences raise over £15,000 for charities!
Each year over the pantomime season we raise money through bucket collections for selected charities. We're delighted to announce that Aladdin audiences raised over £15,000!
The charities that benefitted from their generosity are Addenbrooke's C2 Ward, Cambridge Joint Playschemes, Stars, East Anglian Air Ambulance, Barbara's Bus Fund, Erb's Palsy Group and our own Panto Wheels scheme, which enables disadvantaged school children to experience a trip to our pantomime.
Kat Collins, Head of Marketing and Sales at Cambridge Arts Theatre said: “We are all delighted with the amount of money our wonderful audiences have raised this year. We know that the selected charities will benefit immensely and are extremely grateful of our audience’s generosity; from the Theatre staff and our pantomime company, we extend a huge thank you to everyone who donated across the pantomime season.”
A big thank you to all who joined us for our pantomime Aladdin and to those whose generous donations have helped our selected charities!
Aladdin was produced by Cambridge Arts Theatre and proudly sponsored by Laragh Homes, the award-winning Cambridgeshire property developer.
