History of Cambridge Arts Theatre

Cambridge Arts Theatre was founded in 1936 by the economist and founder member of the Arts Council, John Maynard Keynes and is now a thriving regional venue showcasing the best touring theatre from the UK and beyond. This year marks the Arts Theatre's 80th anniversary so dig a little deeper into our history and discover the rich and varied history behind this much-loved cultural institution.
